Heartbeats

The Haromny test is all well and good, but it means no 12 week ultrasound. I’m 13 weeks today and feeling a little less rubbish. That’s good I suppose, but feeling rubbish has been comforting me for a couple of months now. As it stands, there is nothing to reassure me that the Bouncy Bean is still bouncing.

If I can get my first midwife appointment soon, at least they will likely be able to hear a heartbeat through a doppler. Although imagine if they can’t? Early on they always warn that they may not be able to find it and that’s ok. Well, they’s better hear a heartbeat INSTANTLY, or I can’t promise I won’t burst into tears.
